Hot work training price is 105€ + KM.
The price includes lecture materials and and, upon successful completion of the training, a certificate for performing fire works, which is valid for 5 years.


The target group of the training is employees whose work involves gas and electric welding, gas flame work, cutting metal with a disc cutter, using a hot air blower, heating and installing bitumen or other combustible mastic, blacksmithing, and making a fire outside the hearth.

The basis of training for fire work is Ministry of Social Affairs Regulation No. 38 “Requirements for fire work training and fire work certificate” (adopted on 30.08.2010). The regulation is provided on the basis of § 14 (4) of the “Fire Safety Act”.

§ 14. Persons performing work involving open flame

(1) Works involving an open flame may be performed in the form of an economic activity by persons who have the professional certificate or who have completed the training for works involving an open flame and have the certificate for works involving an open flame
(2) A natural person may perform works involving an open flame for own use, upon ensuring the safety, on an immovable property in his or her possession which is fenced or marked, without having a certificate for works involving an open flame.
(3) Works involving an open flame may be performed in the form of an economic activity and in adherence with safety requirements by persons who have acquired foreign professional qualifications if their professional qualifications have been recognised in accordance with the Recognition of Foreign Professional Qualifications Act. The competent authority provided for in subsection 7 (2) of the Recognition of Foreign Professional Qualifications Act is the Rescue Board. [RT I, 30.12.2015, 1 – entry into force 18.01.2016]

Hot work training is an activity in which a flame is used, sparks are generated, or the temperature of which can ignite the surrounding combustible material, thereby creating a real fire hazard.

The training is largely in the form of discussions, and the use of a microphone and camera is mandatory.

The theoretical part and the knowledge test are carried out in the classroom or via Zoom. Practical extinguishing exercise carried out in outdoor conditions.

A person who has completed the training can assess the risks associated with the use of fire extinguishers, knows different types of fire extinguishers, knows how to use a fire extinguisher and is familiar with related laws. Fire makers are given the knowledge and skills to do safe firefighting and use fire extinguishers.

Lecturer:
The training is conducted by a certified fire safety specialist.

It is possible to order the training to the company as in-house training. Organization of in-house training is based on the company’s field and wishes. We conduct training in Estonian, Russian and English.
